Professional Staffing & Digital Marketplace Terms of Service.

1

The Partnership

1.1 Purpose: This agreement governs the relationship between Locum Force Ltd (the "Platform") and the Client (the healthcare provider/facility) for the sourcing of qualified Healthcare Professionals (the "Professional").

1.2 Acceptance: By creating an account, posting a shift, or requesting a Professional’s details, the Client agrees to these terms. No signature is required; Digital interaction with our services constitutes a binding agreement.

1.3 Platform Status: Locum Force Ltd is a digital marketplace and acts as an introduction service. We provide the technology to connect talent with demand; we do not provide medical services or manage the Professionals directly.

Bookings & Fees

£18 + VAT

Requirement

Initial Confirmation

2.2 Payment Timing: Booking fee is payable at the point you confirm a Professional for your shift.

2.3 Engagement Integrity (The "Direct Hire" Rule): If a Client hires a Professional introduced by Locum Force for a permanent role or a direct booking within 6 months of the last interaction, a "Direct Engagement Fee" of £2,000 + VAT will apply.

2.4 Transparency: Professionals are responsible for their own tax, NI, and pension contributions as self-employed contractors.

Professional Standards

3.1 Professional Commitment: Professionals are responsible for their valid registration (e.g., GPhC, GMC, NMC, HCPC), has the Right to Work in the UK, and maintains professional indemnity insurance.

3.2 Client Duty: The Client is responsible for the final supervision of the Professional’s work. You must ensure they receive a proper site induction and a safe working environment.


4

Cancellations & Guarantees

4.1 Client-Led Cancellations: If the Client cancels a confirmed shift, the £18 + VAT Service Fee is strictly non-refundable.

4.2 Professional Cancellations: If a Professional cancels or fails to attend, we ensure you are not penalised. The Client is entitled to re-post the same vacancy without any extra payment.

4.3 Manual Re-posting: Following a cancellation, the Client must manually re-list the vacancy to attract new applicants. Locum Force does not manually guarantee a replacement.


5

Liability & Indemnity

5.1 Work Performance: Locum Force is not liable for clinical outcomes, negligence, or loss of profit as the Professional works under your supervision.

5.2 Insurance: The Client must maintain valid Public and Employers’ Liability insurance that covers temporary staff.

5.3 Indemnity: The Client agrees to hold Locum Force harmless against any claims arising from a Professional’s actions.


6

Professional Conduct

6.1 Mutual Respect: We maintain a zero-tolerance policy for discrimination. Professional courtesy is expected from both parties.

6.2 System Integrity: Personal details must not be exchanged outside the platform to bypass fees. All data is managed in accordance with UK GDPR.

6.3 Reporting: Issues must be reported to Locum Force within 24 hours of the shift ending.


7

Governance

7.1 Jurisdiction: These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales and are subject to exclusive jurisdiction of their courts.
